Proven Success in Asia: KSGC 2024 Recognition

In 2024, Open Energy was among the top finalists in the K‑Startup Grand Challenge in Korea. We were the only company in the New Mobility & Energy sector recognized among the top startups. Leading publications such as Fortune Korea, Forbes Korea, and The Korea Times featured our EV battery swap robot and its strategic potential  .

This Asian milestone and now our success in Europe confirm strong market validation and growing interest from stakeholders across multiple continents.

What This Confirms

Our HyperSwap platform is modular, compatible with most EVs and designed for rapid swaps—drivers spend less than three minutes per battery exchange. These features align with demand for flexible, scalable, and cost-efficient EV infrastructure. The MOST grant and Korean spotlight reinforce that our system meets real-world needs in fleets, logistics, and grid-integrated energy storage.

What This Means Moving Forward

We will participate in Zest’s three‑month acceleration program, connecting with European industry leaders, institutions, and potential pilots. The €200,000 grant will help scale development, target deployment in Europe, and support prototype rollout in fleet environments.

Why This Matters

Open Energy’s recognition in both Europe and Asia shows our technology is meeting key challenges in sustainable mobility:

  • Rapid validation across two continents
  • Awarded by high-profile institutions like MOST and KSGC
  • Clear interest in EV battery swap from industry, media, and public entities

Demand for energy storage and modular EV charging is rising across Europe, and this dual recognition positions us to lead that transformation.

We remain committed to delivering scalable EV Battery Swap and energy storage solutions for modern fleets. Winning both in Korea and Italy confirms global relevance and strong momentum. The future of mobility is shifting—and Open Energy is ready to power that transition across Europe and beyond.
